Last Christmas, INF’s supporters bought a whopping 446 gifts from INF’s catalogue. That’s 446 lives changed, restoring health, hope and opportunities for a better future.
Gifts included 103 chickens, pigs and goats to help families improve their income and work their way out of poverty. 66 families could receive seeds to start kitchen gardens, plant high value crops or fruit trees - a popular choice that raised enough funds to plant 1,550 trees.
Health care related gifts raised enough money for 43 people to receive free medical treatment or counselling. 83 gifts were bought for people affected by leprosy, ranging from protective shoes to self-care kits.
50 Christmas gifts will benefit people with a disability, enabling us to provide walking frames, toys for children with special needs, or assessing someone’s needs and helping them to obtain a disability ID card.
These are just some examples of how the gifts could help some of the poorest people in Nepal. Each person and their circumstances are different. There is no one-size-fits-all solution and we will make sure that everybody will get support based on their individual needs.
Over the last three years, Really Good Gifts contributed £32,545 for INF’s work in Nepal, helping 1,617 people. Gifts from INF’s catalogue can truly make a life transforming difference. Thank you.
