Dinah-Eva Storm, who worked with INF during the 1990s, went home to be with her Lord on 21 March.
Born in 1964 in Germany, Dinah did short-term work in Laos and India before being called to work with Himalayan people. She applied to the German mission organization, Christian Services International, in 1993, but shortly afterwards her mother was diagnosed with cancer so Dinah stayed at home to look after her.
Dinah started her work in Nepal with INF in the autumn of 1996 and was based in Kathmandu where she established the quality control programme for government laboratories. Although she only stayed in Nepal for one term, she kept up contact with Nepali friends and other INF contacts.
After returning to Germany Dinah worked at the Paul Lechler Institute in Tübingen, a hospital for tropical diseases. During one holiday she helped to set up training courses for laboratory technicians in Peru.
Despite suffering from several bouts of cancer, Dinah was regarded by her friends as a very positive person. In recent years we have asked our prayer partners to pray as she has gone through various cancer treatments. It is comforting to know that she is no longer in pain.
Dinah’s funeral will take place next week in Bietigheim in Germany.
